Community Investments Committee Meeting

The San Francisco Arts Commission is committed to open government. Any member of the public is welcome to attend our meetings and provide public comment.

Community Investments Committee meetings are held the third Tuesday on even-numbered months at 1 p.m., and generally last for about two hours. If the scheduled date falls on a holiday, the meeting will usually be rescheduled to the following or preceding week.

11th and Natoma Park Project

The San Francisco Arts Commission invites artists and artist teams residing in the United States to submit qualifications for artist-designed fence panels. As part of the 11th and Natoma Park development, San Francisco Recreation and Parks (RPD) plans to install an 11-foot high, powder-coated aluminum perimeter fence and entry gate along the 11th Street frontage of the park, which provides an opportunity for the integration of a permanent public artwork.

Mission Bay School Public Art Project

The San Francisco Arts Commission invites artists and artist teams residing in the United States to submit qualifications for the Mission Bay School Public Art Project Opportunity, a tile or mosaic artwork, approximately 330 square feet located on the exterior of the school’s east entrance. The goal of the project is to create an artwork that is bold and colorful, visually enhance the learning environment, and inspire and engage students.

Treasure Island Water Resource Recovery Facility

The San Francisco Arts Commission invites artists and artist teams residing in the United States to submit qualifications for the Treasure Island Water Resource Recovery Facility (TIWRRF). The art opportunity consists of the concrete façades of the TIWRRF’s Maintenance and Administration Buildings along Eastside Avenue and the adjacent pedestrian and bicycle pathways.
